Tabletop Tuesday’s place setting inspiration is filled with vintage yellow and brown dishes, amber glassware, rosewood and brass flatware with brass and brown accessories.
The texture is smooth. The pattern is a rhythmic repetition of flower petals mixed with more of a culture-based geometric print. Wherever they are from, they are beautiful. I suspect that the dishes were designed and handmade in Mexico or South America. Creativity and beauty defy geography.
When I see art like this, my mind begins to figure out the story. The food we eat has a story. Why not craft an culinary experience around it all.
