It is interesting how rose gold has become one of the hottest colors and metals in both interiors and fashion over the past few years. It is now reaching critical mass or as Malcolm Gladwell coins, the tipping point.
Rose gold is a blend of gold and copper alloy which gives it that rose pink color. It can be matte or shiny. When I chose rose gold for my logo almost nine months before I launched my brand in 2014, I realized that it was a color that had crept into my style vernacular years prior to that moment. It is a luxurious color. It possesses a subtle richness yet glows with an effervescent hue. It is warm and feminine yet possess strength. Another revelation came to me about my choice of rose gold is that the color is really my skin tone. My skin undertones are a combination of yellow and red or in this case gold and copper. Funny, rose gold is really in my DNA so for me it is beyond the metal of the moment.
