PHASE 1:  INITIAL CONSULTATION

An initial consultation includes all parties becoming acquainted and discussing these essential elements:

• Space review
• Lifestyle preferences for functionality + style
• Style identification
• YCD capabilities
• Design process overview
• Site measurement
• Inventory assessment

PHASE 2:  DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

In this phase, we begin customizing the design plan for your space which includes:

• Space planning
• Establish a color story for paint, surfaces, appliances, furniture and furnishings
• Create a MoodBoard to visually frame the space’s aesthetic including mood, space composition, colors, style, textures, scale and materials
• Establishing a plan budget
• Research, compile and discuss material samples
• Schedule any additional measurement for specific project details
• Provide sketches and/or computer files to illustrate the design plan in your specific space
• Project finalization timeline from approved plan to installation
  • This makes accommodations for any construction, custom products, fine art procurement, curated acquisitions, etc.

PHASE 3: PURCHASING AND CONSTRUCTION

A comprehensive project scope with timeline accommodates simultaneous tasks such as scheduling any construction crews as well as ordering final plan merchandise. We manage your project and keep you apprised of benchmark status developments.

PHASE 4: INSTALLATION

This is where we orchestrate the implementation of your space’s visual transformation Once all construction is finalized (if applicable) and all merchandise has been received; it is reviewed to confirm that it meets YCD’s standards of excellence, quality and condition. At this point, all items in your space are placed as designed and discussed comes to life so that you can begin your new lifestyle in your custom designed space.

You will also receive instructions for the care of your purchases to secure your long-term investments.
