Artist Refik Anadol is a Los Angeles based media artist that explores the physical and virtual worlds. His uses light as his experimental tool to connect virtual and physical space. The Infinity Room is a mirrored wall rectangular enclosure that incorporates kinetic digital visualizations to simulate infinite space in a three dimensional manner. Once inside, the viewer becomes the performer and begins observing his/her place within this virtual world.
The Infinity Room is part of an ongoing body of work that Anadol describes as a “Temporary Immersive Environment Experiments.”
